For this field of application Medical Cable Tec GmbH supplies spiral and strand ropes for different control cables made of several materials coated or non-coated.
These products are being designed according to customer’s specification in order to meet the requirements such as breaking force, expansion, fatigue bending characteristics, corrosion resistance, DC resistance, non-twisting and low-strain design as well as processability.
This is realized by means of our quality advance planning process from prototype, pre-series and serial production using all methods and procedures specific to the automotive industry.
All production processes are permanently being monitored and secured by means of suitable procedures. Our central CAQ-system interlinks the methods and procedures (APQP, FMEA, initial sample testing, testing schedule, inspection data gathering, and so on) used and therefore can be traced back any time.
We possess all necessary installations for testing (i.a. tensile testing devices in range of force 1 N up to 100 kN including special grip for wire ropes, video-extensometer, bending testing cycle and X-ray fluorescence analyzer).
In case of a special testing method which might not be available at our company, we work together with accredited laboratories.
